Intoe
Definitions
The big toe bends towards to the second toe and pushes out the inside bone of the big toe. , It is a deformation disease.
Cause
- Heraditory or overweight
- Frequent wearing of high heels or narrow ball shoes.
Symptoms
- Severe pain due to the projected toe when wearing shoes
- When leaving it untreated, bad postures due to deformed toes can make the knees and the hip joints hurt.
Treatments
- Non-surgical: Medication, Extracorporeal shock wave, Exercise, Correction Pad

Plantar Fasciitis
Definitions
Plantar fascia is what maintains the curve and elasticity to the feet, and the disease breaks out when it was overly used, got swollen and infected.
Cause
- Wearing wrong shoes that are too high or too low
- Sudden weight gain
- Immoderate exercise
- Standing at work for too long
- Doing an exercise that is immoderate on the sole of the feet
Symptoms
- Severe pain when taking a first step after getting out of bed in the morning
- Burred feeling on the heel or inside the feet
- Pain when weighing the weight on feet
- Continuos stiffness when standing
Treatments
- Non-surgical: Medication, subsidiary, Extracorporeal Shock Wave
- Surgical: Fasciotomy

Damaged Archilles Tendon
Definitions
It is one of the biggest tendons in our body which is a one thick tendon behind the ankle. The tendon disconnecting is called the Damaged Achilles Tendon.
Cause
- It usually occurs when missing a step playing sports, or landing wrong after jumping
(usually happens a lot when playing volleyball.)
- After unfolding knees and lifting the leg by bearing the weight of the body on that feet.
- Sudden bending back of an ankle
- It could rupture by an exterior shock, or other illness or can rupture naturally by a physiological changes.
Symptoms
- If the Achilles tendon suddenly hurts, the torn part would be unnaturally dented.
- When the Achilles tendon disconnects it may make a noise.
- Usually the patient could walk but cannot stand on his/her toes. It’s the characteristics of this disease.

Treatment
- Non-surgical: 6-8 week of cast
- Surgical: Repair surgery

Foot Joint Ligament Damage
Definitions
- Generally while playing sports, but sometimes by missing a step or falling into a pit
- Weak ankle ligament or muscle, or an experience of an ankle injury.
- Unfitting shoes, or if the surface is not even.
- Especially when playing tennis or running.
This takes about 30% of the external injury that are related to all sports, and it is one of the most usual sport damages.
Cause

Symptoms
- Swallen ankle, unable to walk well due to pain.
The ligament is stretched out therefore it is a chronic foot joint instability.
- Under skin bleeding, possible bruise. Bleeding equals to a torn ligament.
- Usually it gets better within 48 hours, and is back to being normal in 10~14 days.
- It could be easily considered lightly but if it were to be untreated for a long time, the ankle joint will be damamged and
could go on to a degenerating arthritis. It is important to treat it at its early stage.
Treatments
- Non-surgical-Ice pack, a compress, anti-inflammatory, ankle subsidiary
- Surgical-Arthroendoscopy, Ligament Reconstruction
